Sling TV | XBOX Video

In 2018, my team approached Sling TV and encourage them to update their Xbox App experience with new, benefit-driven description copy and a sleek, modern video. Why? Because gamers and users alike expect constant innovation and demand a top-tier user experience.

Xbox, not just for gaming anymore. 

There’s an increasing number of people who use their Xbox devices for streaming entertainment as well as gaming. Sling TV was seeing 1,300+ app downloads from Xbox users and 30-33% of those users went on to sign up for a 7-day free trial. With an aggressive goal of reaching close to 32 million Xbox users who could watch with Sling, they came to us to help them increase the number of “roll to pay” users by 10%.

They appreciated our insight and told us to move forward with it. So, we worked closely with a video production company out of Los Angeles to create something for Sling TV that showcased their content in a more premium way. I rewrote the app description (below), wrote the video script and worked closely with our video partners to take this concept from storyboard to final product.
